My true passion is working events. From corporate events to weddings, organizing and planning events has been on my heart since high school. The very first time I realized I was interested in event planning was while I was employeed at The Hilton Rockwall. A vividly remember a beautiful bride walking through the lobby with her event planner holding her train as they walked towards the ceremony. At Texas A&M I have completed the coursework to obtain my Professional Event Management Certificate upon graduation in May 2015. Additionally, through my sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha, I was given two leadership positions pertaining to event planning. The first position was Decorations Day Head for Texas A&M Sorority Recruitment. The other leadership positionw as Think Pink Philanthropy Chair. With this position, I was in charge of planning a week of fundraising events to raise money for breast cancer education and awareness. These two positions gave me my first opprotunity to be the lead planner for large scale events.
